Nuits Vignerondes, Domaine Leroy 2007

A discreet if not invisible touch of wood frames an elegant dark berry and underbrush infused nose where the latter aspect continues onto the rich, full and palate saturating flavors that are really quite refined and finally culminate in a driving finish that really coats the mouth. The dry extract gives a velvety quality to the mouth feel as it pushes the firm tannins to the background on the hugely long finish, indeed there is so much material that this could very well surprise to the upside.
