Tasting Notes

Superb value for money, this wine was produced and bottled by one of the great Chateaux of Bordeaux and labelled exclusively for Farr Vintners. Very dark in colour, this wine opens with a broody, deep cassis dominated nose with hints of cloves and spices. The palate is rich and concentrated with cherries, black currants and a hint of plums, set against a backdrop of creamy vanilla. The fruit is well supported by a firm yet integrated structure with firm yet integrated tannins and good grip. All in all, classic Pauillac in make up, with an elegant and long finish. This wine will drink well now but can be enjoyed over the next 5 years and beyond.
