Here the wood treatment is more subtle though still noticeable on the liqueur-like and pure aromas of red and dark berries with discreet spice and earth hints. There is better freshness and vibrancy to the relatively elegant flavors thanks to the finer grain of the supporting tannins, all wrapped in a balanced, complex and sneaky persistent finish. Lovely.
