Riesling Von der Fels Trocken, Weingut Keller 2015

Tasting Notes

The 2015 von der Fels is a step up from the very good Estate Trocken bottling, wafting from the glass in a complex and vibrant constellation of grapefruit, blood orange, stony minerality, gentle notes of wild yeasts, citrus peel, lemongrass and a moderately smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and supremely elegant, with a fine core, ripe, zesty acids, great focus and grip and a very long, vibrant and utterly refined finish. Great juice. 2016-2040.
