SP68 Bianco, Arianna Occhipinti 2016
Bright deep straw-yellow with orange tinges. Chamomile, peach tea, aromatic herbs, and crème brulée on the nose. Then fresh, but slightly pungent in the middle, with a clean, soft finish offering reminders of apricot and pomaceous orchard fruit. I don’t mind a little volatile acidity now and then as it generally adds freshness to wines, but I found it to be a little too much for my taste in this specific wine. Still, this packs in a lot of flavor and only 12.5% alcohol.
