Chambolle Combe d'Orveau, Domaine Taupenot-Merme 2010

Tasting Notes

A very ripe nose of lightly spiced plum, red currant and plenty of dark berry fruit liqueur nuances gives way to rich, round and really quite generous flavors that culminate in a mineral-inflected, focused, linear and highly vibrant finish. There is a real sense of energy here that along with the silky mouth feel make for a refreshing and highly sophisticated effort.

Note: from vines that average more than 60 years of age

Subtle and shaded and a little smudgy on the nose and then very fresh. Crackling fruit on the mid palate. Black fruits and a bit of crystalline structure. 2018-2028
