All but invisible wood easily allows the aromas of petrol, white orchard fruit and lavender to shine. There is excellent volume and mid-palate concentration to the powerful yet caressing medium weight plus flavors that are opulent to the point of being almost unctuous yet the supporting acidity is sufficient to maintain the balance on the saline-inflected finale. If you like big, rich and succulent white burgs, this would be a good choice. Drink: 2020+
Bright pale lemon colour in the glass, with a juicy, ripe, soft and smooth stone fruits. Peaches, pears, and a light, savoury spiciness are all in harmony. The palate is packed with this same fruit and though the acidity is fresh there is ample ripeness and a soft, round texture that makes this ideal for pulling corks in its youth. Generous and smooth, with light creaminess and a savoury biscuity length, it will be delicious over the next 3-5 years.
