Chassagne Montrachet La Romanée, Domaine Fontaine Gagnard 2016

Like the Caillerets there is just a touch of exoticism present on the overtly floral and spicy white orchard fruit nose that is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is a lovely mineral nuance to the pure, intense and refined generously proportioned flavors that possess equally good depth, all wrapped in a balanced, sappy and lingering finish that is markedly saline in character. This too is excellent and worth considering.
