Aromas of lemon oil, crisp green apple, white flowers and oyster shell introduce the 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, a medium to full-bodied, ample wine that's nicely concentrated and structured, with good depth at the core and a stony finish.
There is enough post-bottling sulfur present to warrant giving this a quick aeration. Otherwise there is much better freshness and verve to the solidly intense flavors that possess fine density as well as notably better depth and persistence on the clean and dry finish. This is really quite good.
