The 2016 d’Angludet has a ripe, opulent bouquet, very pure and very Margaux, featuring a mixture of red and black fruit and a subtle floral aspect. The palate is well balanced, supple and rounded, slightly ferrous on the entry and offering raspberry and crushed strawberry toward the sustained finish. A delicious d’Angludet to jump on, considering no 2017 was produced. 2019 - 2026
A wine of impressive style and character, the 2016 D'Angludet exhibits a deep bouquet of cassis, blackberries, loamy soil, burning embers and violets, framed by a deft touch of classy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, with excellent concentration, ripe tannins and a long, penetrating finish, it's the finest wine I've ever tasted from this Margaux property.
