Tasting Notes

Mahogany colour with an explosive and expansive nose of dried citrus, leather, caremelised nuts and roasted figs. The palate is powerful and dense, with nuttyness to the fore and a real saline drive of acidity that is akin to great Madeira. Great concentration with a hint of old books, cigar leaf and roasted chestnut through to a long, lightly cocoa-accented finish. Superb.
