Charmes Chambertin, Chanson 2015
There is a distinct wisp of prune character to the truffle, earth and humus-suffused nose of very ripe, even slightly jammy dark berry fruit aromas. The thick, opulent and exceptionally rich flavors possess a highly seductive mid-palate but there is noticeable warmth on the mocha-inflected finish. This isn't really a heavy wine but it's not what I look for as it's almost too much.
