Quite closed for a 2019, but with classical elegance on the concentrated and tightly structured palate, the finely chiseled tannins supporting the ripe yet sleek palate very nicely. Very long, firm and chalky finish that’s laser-beam bright. Drinkable now, but best from 2023.

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées (Domaine Louis Jadot) reveals scents of berry fruit, spiced plums, sweet soil tones, licorice and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, rich and layered, it's lively and vibrant, with refined tannins and fine length on the finish.
Mid ruby-purple in colour. Very succulent in fruit on the nose, full of ripe red cherries and a hint of sweet vanilla. The palate is quintessential Chambolle, seamless and succulent with vibrant red strawberry and cherry shining through. The tannins are ripe and fine, just adding tension and a fine, cocoa-like texture. Expansive on the mid palate, this finishes with a real flourish and breadth. Very moreish and accomplished.
