The 2019 Chablis Terroir de Fyé opens in the glass with notes of crisp green orchard fruit, mint, oyster shell and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and concentrated, it's seamless and complete, concluding with a saline finish. As readers will remember, this bottling derives from the lower portion of Chapelot that isn't entitled to the premier cru appellation.
This comes from the village sector of Bréchain and Bas de Chapelot, the latter picked earlier. Yellow colour. The nose shows, some evolution. Quite a full rich yellow mouthful, but once again this happily tightens up the finish.
