Two thirds comes from the upper part, next to Les Poruzots, and one third below. The upper part risks drying out, according to Nicolas, and offers a spicy note, while the component from the lower part tends to be juicier. The finished wine has a pretty mid yellow colour. There is indeed a little spice but some delicacy here too. The 2018 Meursault Genevrières has a lovely finish, and is a long way from being ready. Persistent, fine, more white fruit notes. Something to look forward to. Drink from 2027-2033.
