Tasting Notes

So spicy and smoky with a hint of mushroom, this is an enormously deep and concentrated dry pinot gris that’s just beginning to open up. With some aeration, ripe melon character is added to the expansive picture. Tons of spice at the imposing, dry finish and just a hint of raisin. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but better from 2023.

Indice 1. Bright golden colour. Floral, musky and open already with a plush fruit core on the nose. This follows on the palate, which is broad and full bodied. Poached white fruits, honeyed peached and a little white flower all come through. This seductive and glossy wine remains dry, but there is real flesh that makes it very hedonistic.
