Tasting Notes

This is fine-tannined with pretty currant, light chocolate and walnut character. Medium-to full-bodied with a chewy finish. Drink in 2022.

Black core with purple rim. Dark, savoury fruit, relatively closed thanks to the concentration but fully ripe with a hint of violets. Compact yet totally smooth tannins on the palate, chalky and all texture at the moment though there is plenty of fruit to balance those tannins. And there's freshness even without particularly obvious acidity. Dark-chocolate aftertaste.
