Tasting Notes

The 2019 Dauzac delivers aromas of ripe black fruits, burning embers and petroleum jelly. Full-bodied, rich and fleshy, it's a muscular, extracted style of Margaux, its generous core of fruit framed by ripe acids and an abundance of rich, powdery tannins. Despite its scale, however, it's not especially complex or characterful. Drink date 2025 - 2045

This is wonderfully perfumed with blackcurrant and floral aromas that follow through to a medium to full body with super-integrated tannins that go on to the very end. Bright and vivid. One of the best Dauzacs ever. 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot. Best after 2026.
