From a vineyard planted in 1902 on limestone soils with a 35% slope at 550m above sea level. Bright ruby colour. This is a lively, fresh Mencia with a real nod to Cabernet Franc from the Loire valley - crunchy red cherries and red summer fruits mingle with a deeply savoury herbal tone on the nose. Floral accents lift the fruit on the palate which is soft in tannin and structured by vibrant acidity. This moreish, red fruited and cool wine is moreish and ready to go, a delicious and approachable style.
