Tasting Notes

Matured in 20% new oak, the 2021 Dragon de Quintus delivers aromas of sweet berries, cassis, warm spices, raw cocoa and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, lively and succulent, with a pretty core of fruit, powdery tannins and a sapid finish, it shows promise. This derives from Quintus's holdings at the foot of the slope.

William Kelley, Wine Advocate (260), April 2022

A fresh, fruity bouquet of dark wild berries, raspberries and cherries preface the 2022 Dragon de Quintus, a round, juicy and elegant wine that possesses a saline, calcareous and penetrating finish. It can be drunk any time over the next decade. It's a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Drink Date: 2024 - 2030
