Leclerc Briant Clos des Trois Clochers, Champagne Leclerc Briant 2015

Tasting Notes

The 2015 Brut Zéro Le Clos des Trois Clochers was picked in Villers Allerand and spent nine months in oak, resulting in an almost sumptuous blanc de blancs. Almost caramel-tinged creaminess on the nose promises oak-kissed richness. Frothy bubbles on the palate enliven freshness that accentuate the oak phenolics, a slight bitterness and the umami finish. This is probably best at the table, where its richness and structure can play a proper part. Zero dosage. Disgorged: December, 2020. 2023-2030
