There is a hint of herbal tea sitting atop the earthier and spicier aromas of red currant, plum and lavender that are trimmed in a deft application of wood. The mouthfeel of the concentrated and stony medium weight flavors is borderline robust as the muscular finish really tightens up thanks to the moderately firm core of supporting tannins. This isn't quite as complex as the Perrières, but the linear finish is a bit longer.
