Chambolle Drazeys, Domaine Gagey, Louis Jadot 2019

Tasting Notes

**Note: from a rarely seen villages level vineyard that abuts Les Baudes**
A bright and fresh nose displays notes of various red berries, plum and whiffs of both earth and fennel. The rich and attractively textured medium weight flavors possess good power and punch while the saline-inflected finish offers solid length where touches of austerity and rusticity appear. Les Drazeys is rarely an elegant Chambolle and this is no exception.

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Drazeys (Domaine Gagey) is very pretty, bursting with aromas of raspberries, rose petals, red plums and spices. Medium-bodied, bright and lively, with fine concentration, fine tannins and lively acids, it's a touch finer-boned than its richer, fleshier 2018 counterpart.
