From Les Petits Clos, which has clay at the bottom of the vineyard and limestone at the top. There is an elegance to the bouquet here, no more than middleweight but with some floral notes and fresh white fruit. Pretty at the finish and with good persistence.
A fresher combination is comprised by notes of mostly white orchard fruit laced with hints of rosemary oil and lemon rind. There is a lovely sense of energy to the notably rich and tension-filled larger-scaled flavors that possess very good mid-palate volume before concluding in a lingering if mildly warm finale. This should benefit from a few years of cellaring in order to develop a bit more overall depth.
