Tasting Notes

This year the Labets have made experiments with different levels of stems. Grapes from the lower part of the vineyard have been destemmed while those from the central part have been vinified with two thirds whole bunches. In the end around or a bit over half is whole bunch. They are aiming to make the wine a little more supple. Bright crimson purple. Immediate deep dark red fruit here, well balanced in the mouth, less marked by the whole bunches this year, of course. A raspberry touch towards the back, the right proportion of tannins. A little graphite touch at the end.
