Tasting Notes

(Schäfer-Fröhlich Schlossböckelheimer Felsenberg Riesling GG) AP: 23 16. An initial whiff of residual notes of spontaneous fermentation gives way to minerals and grapefruit zest on the palate. The wine is quite sharp and racy but a more opulently fruity side emerges in the finish and in the surprisingly intense and powerful after-taste. 2020-2030
