Corton Charlemagne, Moreau, Benoit 2021

Tasting Notes

The 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, which comes from purchased fruit, has an attractive nose with yellow plum, white tea and grilled almond scents. The palate is very well balanced with notes of wild peach, lime cordial and red apple, very harmonious with a long, languorous finish. It's the kind of wine that puts a Cheshire cat grin in your face. Gorgeous.

Clear bright pale colour. The nose shows some stones, and also the barrel. Quite a weight of fruit. Sound personality. Light sandalwood finish, and holds on very well. Drink from 2026-2032.
