This is riper still yet retains good freshness to the smoky aromas of apricot, pear, white peach and apple. As is typically the case this possesses even more size, weight and richness thanks once again to the exceptional level of sappy dry extract displayed by the big-bodied flavors which terminate in an attractively dry finish. This is a big, powerful and very serious wine that is clearly built to age and will need at least a few years to unwind.
