Chambolle Combe d'Orveau, Domaine Faiveley 2011

Tasting Notes

A pungent combination of reduction and wood make for a difficult nose. By contrast, the natural refinement of a fine Combe d'Orveau is very much on display with really lovely mineral-driven flavors that possess plenty of underlying tension that imparts a real sense of vitality to the lilting finish that is also underpinned by silky tannins. Lovely stuff and well worth considering.
