A new cuvée sourced from a stony, south-facing site on the terrace, the 2025 Pouilly-Fuissé Long Poil is excellent, rising from the glass with aromas of peach, pear and struck flint, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, racy and seamless palate that is bright and precise.
This is a new addition to the Verget range in 2025. Long Poil is a vineyard situated just above the Premier Cru "Les Vignes Blanches" and "Le Clos" on a limestone soil. The vineyard is south-facing but the high elevation permits the grapes to have a perfect balance of sugar and acidity.
