An exuberantly spicy nose also features ripe red berry liqueur and earth nuances that are also reflected by the detailed, complex and mineral-suffused big-bodied flavors that possess fine power and real muscle on the focused, balanced, explosive and exceptionally persistent finish. This is really a lovely but extremely firm effort with impeccably well-integrated tannins. Considerable patience required.
