Charmes Chambertin, Domaine Coquard Loison-Fleurot 2023

Tasting Notes

The 2023 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru shows just a little reduction on the nose, but it gains intensity with aeration, developing violet and peony scents with time. The palate is medium-bodied and well balanced with fine tannins. There is a little more complexity and personality here than the preceding Clos Vougeot, with a sorbet-fresh finish. Give this four to five years in bottle. Good potential. Drink 2028-2048.
