Pale colour, the fruit has a waxy lemon note to it medium bodied, though with good intensity towards the back of the palate, indeed this does have impressive persistence. The fruit is generous enough, apple and persimmon, to cover the bones, with a light citrus wash to finish.
Offering up aromas of pear, orange zest and freshly baked bread, the 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a succulent, charming profile. More immediate than its 2022 predecessor, this will drink well young.
