An impressively fragrant and delicious amalgam of pinot noir sourced from across the breadth of Tasmania – East Coast, Derwent Valley, Coal River Valley, Huon Valley and Pipers River. Again, it's a beautifully perfumed wine with pure red cherry, red plum and raspberry fruits along with hints of dried cranberry, star anise, citrus blossom, dried meats, amaro, dried citrus rind and crushed rock. Airy and showing plenty of detail, with a fine, minerally line and abundant energy. All in all, a wonderfully composed snapshot of Tasmanian subregions.
Bright, medium-full red-purple colour; lovely complexity of red fruits with smoked meats and foresty touches. The wine is light-medium weighted with good intensity and length. A delicious mixture of primary fruit and complexing details. Some finesse here, and it drinks very well as a youngster.
