Cornas Signature, Domaine Verset A & E 2022

Dark and brooding, the 2022 Cornas Signature Verset showcases pronounced ripe dark fruits, pencil shavings, cedar, crushed rocks and a touch of cured meat. Full-bodied and concentrated, the 2022 is built like a brick wall, clearly necessitating extended bottle aging to fully come together. A persistently savory, powerful finish wraps it up. (Drink between 2030-2040)

Juicier and fruitier than many 2022s, with good weight and concentration of fruit. Acidity is quite noticeable, and it finishes firm and dry. Has a distinct herbal vein running through it. Will always be quite an ascetic, structural, tannic style, but does have classic Cornas styling.
