The KC2 2023 is more nervous than the KC4. A jawline that is even more chiselled, skin pulled taut over muscle, you can almost taste the bone. Like chewing on chalk and lemon. A bold, uncompromising salt-fennel-citric spine. It’s like crash of a cold ocean against rugged cliffs. Shuck those oysters and brace. Drink: 2026-2032
Pale in colour with a flinty, cool nose. This is a delicate and cool wine, all minerals and citrus with just a touch of apple and lime. There is a touch of sheep's wool on the palate, with milky, supple citrus and green apple rounding out the finish.
