Often my pick of the three top Syrahs from the Mullineux, this is a wine that has what Chris Mullineux refers to as a “calm confidence”. Ethereal top notes of fynbos, potpourri and aromatic spices segue into a palate of wild strawberry, plum and tobacco leaf complemented by appealing freshness, sappy acidity and wonderful texture. World class.
