Sixty bottles auctioned. The nose is still very closed and muffled by some sulphur. With vigorous aeration there is certainly a minerally, flinty scent developing. Rock – mountain streams. The palate is very concentrated with stunning poise. Very elegant and refined with superb acidity. Very pure botrytis, very clean and focused towards the finish. Very long with a touch of white peach, orange-blossom and acacia honey lingering long after the wine has been swallowed. Drink 2020-2100+. Tasted September 2007.
