Cask sample. Mid garnet. Powerful ripe plum fruit and lots of energy. Quite a bit of acidity and tannin and this is one of the more youthful wines in this Goedhuis selection. Quite demanding at present – much more ambitious than most village Volnays, but I think it has all the ingredients to bedazzle eventually. Drinking window: 2027-2040
