Tasting Notes

The 2023 Pinot Noir Knox Alexander is a total knockout. A blend of Bien Nacido, Rancho Real and Solomon Hills, the 2023 is totally perfumed, strikingly deep and super complex. An extra dose of herbal notes lends such an enticing character to the velvety yet delicate mix of white pepper, raspberry pastille and ripe red cherry. Cedar spice and tobacco leaf tones build with air, but where the 2023 impresses most is with its polished tannin and overall sense of composure. This is poised to age well, but it wouldn’t be a crime to enjoy a bottle today. (Drink between 2026-2036)
