Tasted privately with a negotiant. Deep garnet/ruby hue. A sweet, lifted ripe Morello and blueberry nose with just a hint of fig. Well balanced, firm tannins with moderate grip and depth. Toasty, dense, modern in style but with attractive purity of fruit. Ripe blackberry, quite floral finish. Very fine. Tasted April 2007.
A balanced red, with raspberry and chocolate character, full body and a silky finish. Solid core of fruit here. Well done. From Denis Durantou of L'Église Clinet.
90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Bright crimson. Very rich, almost chocolatey nose. Polished very smooth sample with fine tannins that are (just) not too aggressive on the finish though very slightly green within the norms of the vintage.
