Tasting Notes

La Ca' Nova's 2016 Barbaresco is a jewel of a wine. Powerful and yet wonderfully translucent, the straight Barbaresco expresses everything that makes Nebbiolo so special. Sweet dark cherry, pine, menthol, licorice and spice are all finely knit, but it is the wine's energy and overall harmony that stand out most. This gorgeous, classically built Barbaresco has so much to offer. (Drink between 2021-2041)
