Taittinger Prelude Non Vintage

Tasting Notes

The 2026 release, formed on the 2019 vintage, is an excellent wine from Taittinger. Bright, pale lemon in colour, the nose has a typical, lightly smoky and reductive nose that hints at the house style captured in Comtes de Champagne. Brighter and more fruit driven than its bigger brother, the lift and elegance here make it a very enticing style. The palate it bright, with a creamy mousse and supple fruit core, there are edges of brioche and biscuit dough, more of that struck flint smokiness and zesty, bright acidity. The dosage keeps everything smooth and moreish, this is an easy wine to drink on its own. A silky, moreish wine you can enjoy now or over the coming 5-8 years.
