Terrestrial, earthy, undergrowth aromas together with five spice and darker fruits. A bigger wine with density, structure, richness, concentration. Enormous palate length. A cracking pinot noir.
A darling of a wine weaving in and out of its heady perfume and almost indecently ripe fruit. So sweet, so many roses, rose hips and delicate curlicues of tannins. Strawberries and roses and cassia and cardamom. The tannins dance but they hold a firm silk ribbon drawstring on the finish. Even the hardest heart could not resist this, surely?
