The 2022 Cabernet Franc Gran Enemigo Chacayes includes 15% Malbec. It has intriguing aromatics of field herbs, particularly jarilla, heterotheca and a touch of curry mixed with blackberry. This is generous and energetic, with defined tannins and a core of black fruit on the finish. Drink 2025-2040.
Red cherries, pepper, elderberries and a subtle touch of paprika on the nose. The palate is juicy and incisive, with a very precise, tight thread of fruit. Vibrant, with finely focused tannins. This ferments with 40% whole bunch. Drink now or hold for further complexity.
