Tasting Notes

The 2024 Parajes is his regional red and is a blend of different places—nine villages, mostly Valtuille but also others—on different soils and with different expositions and altitudes (between 450 and 780 meters above sea level). He looks for a fresh and elegant profile, fermenting it partly in stainless steel and partly in plastic bins, usually smaller plots in the bins where he leaves full clusters. It matured in 225-, 400- and 500-liter oak barrels for one year. It has good ripeness and 13.1% alcohol, a pH of 3.63 and 5.15 grams of acidity. It's expressive, fruit-driven and juicy but with complexity and depth. It is fine-boned and has the elegant and polished 2024 tannins. It's a more serious version of the 2023. 28,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2025. 2026 - 2033
