Already bottled, the 2022 Fixin Les Crais derives from stony, alluvial soils that always produce a charming, demonstrative style of wine, and that's the case this year. Offering up aromas of sweet cherries, berries and plums mingled with orange zest and petals, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and perfumed, with a suave, succulent profile that belies its aging potential.
This too is fresh, bright and ripe with its array of various red berries, plum and a whiff of earth. The caressing and succulent middleweight flavors also display an attractive vibrancy that carries over to the youthfully austere and softly rustic finale that is inviting and balanced.
