I love the pale, ethereal, elegant and perfumed red 2021 Dominio Do Bibei, a fine-boned red blend dominated by the Brancellao grape (there's some 5% Maouratón and Grao Negro). The destemmed grapes fermented in French oak vats, followed by malolactic in 500-liter barrels, and the wine matured in those barrels for 15 months and then a further nine months in a 1,500-liter oak foudre. It has a moderate 13.1% alcohol and a pH of 3.6. It's musky, complex, ever-changing in the glass, nuanced and tasty, with very fine tannins, a silky texture and great purity, precision and symmetry. This is pain delicious. Bravo!
