Tasting Notes

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.3% Merlot, 6.2% Cabernet Franc, 3.2% Tannat, 2% Malbec, 3.6% Pinot Noir, 9.7% rare varieties. TA 3.64 g/l (sulphuric), pH 3.46.
Quite restrained nose. Black cherry and furry tannin and fresher acidity than the 2011 and 2012 - this has something of the Tuscan about it. Olive and bitter chocolate. Powerful and yet smooth.
