The classic 2021 Cornas mingles cured meat subtleties with leafy nuances and ripe red fruits. Medium-bodied and framed by ripe yet gently polished tannins, the 2021 hits the palate with good concentration and intensity. Fleshy and full of character, it can be enjoyed right out of the gate but carries sufficient structure and concentration for extended bottle-aging. (Drink between 2024-2033)
Tasted blind. Deeply smoked and ashy nose. Dense and dark palate with quite coarse tannins at the moment. Sweet fruit alongside the ashy, smoky notes. Chewy on the mid palate, moderate acidity and a ripe finish. Needs plenty of time to integrate. Drink: 2026-2032
